VHT Special 6 is a hand-wired tube amplifier for guitar that is as affordable as it is fantastic. 6 watts of 6V6 power with a 12AX7 preamp gets plenty loud for practice or home studio micing. It breaks up nicely and has 4, 8, or 16 ohm speaker outputs for cabinet options. Can be run at low or high power settings for different response and has a boost circuit that can be engaged with a footswitch (included)… Gorgeous tones. Beautiful simplicity. Five stars!
