Vintage Yamaha SG-1500 – 77-78

Here’s your chance to grab an amazing vintage electric that’s guaranteed to turn heads and sound killer from here to eternity. Sure…. it’s got issues, but try finding one in a shop that you pull down and play! There’s some battle scars and player’s wear, like buckle rash, scrapes and bruises, and a headstock crack… but don’t let that scare you away. All the repairs have been addressed professionally and it’s still playing like a dream. One of the previous owners had some switches installed, probably for phasing and/or coil-tapping  modifactions… those have been unistalled and the holes plugged. Also the humbuckers are non-original, but the replacements are Lollar Imperials which sound stellar. Such a cool guitar!

• Some original tuning machines are gone and replaced by a couple Grovers
• Non-original Lollar Imperial – PAF style humbuckers added
• Nice, straight neck with low action
• Setup and playing nicely
• Some fretwear – Could use a level
