1950s Harmony Consolectric Slide Guitar

The Harmony Co. out of Chicago, IL made some beautifully strange instruments throughout their legacy. The Consolectric is one them. It’s a six string slide guitar with a built in amplifier and speaker. It sets up with tripod legs with the speaker facing the audience and breaks down like a flip top with the legs and guitar stashed away in it’s tweed box.
