Here’s a nice example of a tenor guitar made in Chicago by Harmony in the 1960s. H1201TG is the model and they were produced from ’59 to ’71. Tenor guitars have four strings and are usually tuned in fifths similar to tenor banjo, mandola, or the viola. Other tunings include ukulele tuning, Irish or octave mandolin tuning and open tunings for slide. This little guy is a 23 inch scale length which make it small and comfy. #harmonytenor#harmonyguitars#tenorguitar#georgetownmusic#georgetown_music#tenorguitars#vintageharmony#vintagegear#madeinchicago
