Have any of you out there tried out one of these Yamaha Trans Acoustics before? They’re pretty neato. There’s built-in effects via a piezo and a little preamp and speaker thingy with chorus and reverb. Whoa!! Cool… $400

I bought a Yamaha Transacoustic a while back and love playing it. It sounds great acoustically but then you turn on the built in effects and it magically (magically by way of technology) comes alive and fills the room with reverb and chorus without additional equipment.
We agree Steve. It’s quite striking isn’t it? Personally, I’m a little skeptical when it comes to newer gadgets and tech blended with traditional instruments… but I’m blown away. It’s really, really cool… Thanks for chimmin’ in! ~Brent
