We’re been busy today cleaning up this beautiful electric piano from the late 1970s. Yamaha CP-30 – a 6 octave piano with semi-weighted keys in a lovely fake-wood and tolex housing. The case becomes the stand! Genius design. Made in Japan.
It’s pretty rare these days to find one in nice, working condition. It’s been well cared for and comes complete.
It has 3 piano sounds, harpsichord plus pitch, decay, tremolo and EQ controls. It’s not as cool as a Rhodes or a Wurlizer, perhaps, but it’s still a great studio piece from a bygone era…. NICE!
