It is not often that we get a Double Bass in the shop but today we have a really nice one. It’s a Franz Kollar and Sons 3/4 Upright. It was made in the Czech Republic in the late nineties and recently has had it’s action set up, and a new bridge cut for it. It’s playing fabulously and sounds rich and warm!
It’s on consignment from a local gentleman who’s taken great care of it. We’d love to see it go to a home where it’ll be played and loved. Hitting the webstore shortly. $2000 with a rosewood bow and nice soft-case.
