Iconic Guild S-200 Thunderbirds were Guild’s response to Fender’s Jazzmasters and Jaguars in the 1960s. Their strange offset design has attracted love from many formidable artists over the years including Fred Cole from Dead Moon, Dan Auerbach of Black Keys, and Zal Yanofsky of Lovin’ Spoonful to name a few. Plus Muddy Waters used one with his groundbreaking electric blues band.
These reissues are rock-solid, with high-end build-quality and beautifully executed attention to detail. Probably our favorite Guild solid-body electric in the their current catalog. Rock!
