Vintage 1974 Gibson SG Standard
Here’s a really great player’s SG Standard from the mid-seventies. It’s gone through some changes along the way. When we got it, someone had started some refurbishing, so we finished it off to get it fully back running at top notch.
It has been refinished by someone at some point. This era SG Standards had an option for a factory Bigsby vibrato (which is probably what was on there previously) and now has a more standard Tune-o-Matic bridge. You can see the signs of the repair – it’s had the holes filled and re-sprayed – just clear it seems. They did a good job, but we want you to be aware of that.
This is a very sweet vintage player for someone.

-The marks on the front are from a Bigsby vibrato that have been filled and refin’d
