When Fender sold Guild, it marked a great new chapter for the brand and their instruments. The new owners (Cordoba Music Group) made some good moves by reissuing some Guild Classics and these Strafire Basses are one of those legendary bass guitars.
With a semi-hollow body and a comfortable double-cutaway they bring the thunder with a warm, woody tone and sleek design. This here is Guild’s Starfire I in Cherry Red. It features a shorter scale length and a slimmed down 2.4″ body depth that provides comfort and playability for people with smaller frames.
