Cool gear here. We just landed this late eighties Rhodes MK-60 by Roland. It’s a digital stage piano with Rhodes sounds, Vibes, Clavi, plus a few other e-piano voices, with chorus and tremolo. Hammer weighed keys in a portable 5 octave format. It’s MIDI capable, has nice action, stereo 1/4″ outputs and offers a few footswitch and pedals options. My favorite feature is the giant flat service beyond the keyboard for your favorite synth or vocoder!
The story goes Fender sold the Rhodes brand name to Roland in the mid-80s and produced this and the MK-80 (larger version) with help from Harold Rhodes. It’s built like a tank and pretty heavy but easier to move than a classic Rhodes piano. It comes with a custom fitted anvil roadcase for $399.
